Welcome to a new edition of Home Style Saturdays! Before you head off to get inspired by the round up of posts, I wanted to thank you all so much for your encouragement, thoughtful comments and prayers on our transition to being empty nesters this week. It meant so much to me!
After we dropped Luke off at his college, my girls and I took off the very next morning on a retreat with some of our Dwell Well Collective members. We will be returning home Sunday and then I’ll be back on schedule with more Fall Nesting posts for next week (you can catch up on the whole Fall Nesting series here if you’ve missed any!).
The timing of our trip actually turned out to be a wonderful way to keep my mind off of the now “empty” part of our nest.
The photo at the top of this post is a sneak peek photo from our visit to the Young Living farm in Utah yesterday. Isn’t it gorgeous? It looks like a painting!
The farm is a fun place to visit if you are ever in the Salt Lake City area (Lehi) and, of course, I love experiencing first hand the quality and care that goes into the oils and products I use for my family.
With all of the junk oils and products out there being marketed to us, it’s inspiring to be able to go to this farm where they hand weed their fields instead of spraying toxic chemicals all over them! Pretty amazing! I’ll share more photos next week from the Fall Festival on the farm.
Have a great weekend!

The Utah photos here and on Instagram are unbelievable! That’s a pretty neat part of Instagram, seeing photos and videos of travel to places you’ve never been. :) hope you’re having a great weekend away!
It’s fun to get to travel the world even if it’s just from your own sofa! I save a folder on Instagram of places I’d like to visit someday, too! xo
I thought that was a painting and couldn’t wait to read your post to find out morer about it! Just gorgeous!
It was quite a lovely spot!! Thank you!
Gorgeous photos! I love seeing them.
Glad you got away, travel is a great way to sooth our spirits.
I’ve been seeing pictures of the lavender farm all week. It looks gorgeous!
Utah is on my bucket list…beautiful!!
Ha! I thought what a beautiful place I wonder where it is only to find out it’s basically where I live. I Iive in Utah County, just south of this photo. It’s so easy to miss the beauty where we live.
Wow, yes, definitely a fun spot to put on your list for a visit sometime. I love playing tourist in my own city!
Beautiful! I visited Salt Lake a couple of years ago and thought it was beautiful even in the winter.
What great timing on your trip!
That looks like a great place to retreat to! The fall recipes look soooo good!
That garden in the photo is such a sharp contrast to the barren field that lays beyond it. Gorgeous garden. I guess they have plenty of employees to help weed the garden, though.
It was a beautiful spot to visit this week. And yes, I’m sure they have plenty of help with it to keep it so lovely.
Absolutely stunning scenery. Enjoy the beauty around you.
Utah farm what a beautiful place for some fun and hopefully relaxation! Enjoy your Young Living retreat!
Thank you, it really was a nice opportunity to get away!!
What a nice place to get away for a while!
How nice to spend some time “retreating” as you transition into to this new season of life.
It was a welcome transition, for sure!! xo
How pretty!
Time to plan a Fall vacation!
That photo doesn’t even look like it could be a real place! It’s lovely.
Isn’t it unreal? I loved it! <3
Gorgeous pictures!
Those 3 pumpkins on the stool… ♥️
I feel like I’ve seen so many beautiful pictures from the Young Living Farm. It makes me wish I lived in Utah so I could do family pictures there.
