I’m so excited to share part two of this amazing beach house today! It belongs to my friend Susan, she and her husband had this home custom built in Seabrook, Washington. They generously invited me and my family to stay in their home for a few days this summer! What a treat! Needless to say, we fell in love with every corner of it. So much inspiration. I’ll be sharing some take away tips and remodeling ideas in future posts, too.
If you missed part one, you can take the lower level tour here!
You can also watch my video tours of this home and others if you follow me on Instagram (it’s in the story highlights under Seabrook) or click HERE to watch a video tour if you’re not on Instagram!
You’ll find many sources listed throughout the post and part one of the tour, plus more at the end. I’ll do more detailed posts soon with additional sources. Some of the furniture is out of stock but I’ll share similar options soon.
OK, let’s head upstairs!

It is spectacular AND ever so liveable!! KUDOS!! franki
Truly stunning and spectacular home. Loved everything!! What a dream!
When I saw the kitchen sink and faucet, I did do a double take cause I thought it was your home but the Dutch door was missing..ha
Ha! That’s funny. She used our kitchen remodel for inspiration, it’s so fun to see some of our vision and elements in this beautiful kitchen! I laugh that mine is a snack sized version!
How does one pick a favorite anything in a dream home such as that? Holy moley it is stunning.
My sister has a lake house and so many of those elements would be so awesome in hers. But she has 4 children, and has 3 more college tuitions to pay, then comes her 3 daughters
‘ weddings to eventually pay for – so it remains a cottage in need of repair and design and love – so I do the dreaming for her.
One of the most genius things about that house – well everything – but I REALLY loved the 3 built in beds with hide-away trundles. My sis currently has a back bedroom with two sets of bunk beds – but I think they’re incorporating that into sleeping for 6 was brilliant.
Loved the two tours of this amazing home. Thank you so much, Melissa!
What a fun opportunity to get to dream for someone else! I know the feeling of having to wait for some dreams … we are on our third private college tuition and one more wedding to come at some point…but it is also fun to get creative. I love to find take away tips so I am SUPER excited to find some to share for this home in the upcoming months! The bunks is a perfect example!
Amazing! Random question, I found the Feather the Owl Diffuser, but what is the robot on the bed side table?
I’m not sure! Did you find the link to the owl diffuser? I’ll paste it here: https://theinspiredroom.net/collection/how-to-order-essential-oils/
Are you sure you didn’t decorate this home, Melissa?? It is so YOU!!! Beautiful.
Aww thanks!! I do feel like it was designed just for me! Ha! :) Susan is a friend and loyal blog reader, it makes me so happy when such wonderful people find inspiration here to create their home. It’s not often that I get to see it, let alone STAY in their home, so this was truly a treat for me.
Love the reversible quilt on the very upper level! The one with the circles of various colors on the main side and the small blue floral pattern on the reverse. Would love to know where it’s from.
