I thought this was a BYOS {bring your own snacks} party, Melissa! : ) Mine are older now, too. The only time I talk about their births these days is when I’m laying on the guilt trip about how long I was in labor with them for!
I do have two shadow boxes I had made with their hospital hats, the wrist bands, the hospital picture, and the little name card the hospital put on their bassinet. Packed them up though with everything else when we went on the market. I will enjoy looking at them again though when I can unpack stuff.

I saw these beautiful pieces jsut now and immediately my heart skipped thinking about my sister, Sandy. Sandy has recently been diagnosed with peritoneal cancer, a rare cancer that has a very low level of recovery. The prognosis is not good. Just recently, at the completion of a regimen of very high level chemotherapy, she was blessed with her first grandson, Evan. I know that this jewelry would perfect for her.

I love jewelry to remember/honor babies & family. My husband and I have our “memory rings” to remember the sweet lives of our first 4 children who are in Heaven. These are precious! My son and daughter-in-love experienced such difficulties in conceiving and carrying a child to term. After three miscarriages and 8 long years of trying and giving all her friends and family members beautifully custom designed baby showers, they finally became pregnant and carried to term, only to almost lose their baby girl during labor. Thank God, their doctors worked very quickly to get her into surgery and save both their lives. I would just love to give my daughter-in-love one of these keepsakes that would be so meaningful to them as Mattie Claire’s first birthday is approaching in December.

I absolutely love these! My cousins have been trying to have a baby for so many, many years. And then after that they worked so hard at becoming foster parents and then trying to adopt. They were married back in the early 90s and would be the greatest parents you have ever seen…its been so heartbreaking for them watching everyone else have a baby but they have been the most encouraging and supportive people ever! Never getting negative or critical of anyone else! And guess what happened!!! They were finally blessed with a wonderful baby boy!! They just brought him home from Korea on Monday…arriving in the states at noon! They are parents now! He is almost one year old! I still get all teary just thinking about them! This would be such an amazing gift for her–Nora…my cousin in law. She is sooo sweet and good to everyone else. Thanks for considering my entry!
