Jumbo Candy Canes in a Hurricane Jar!

Christmas Candy Canes in a Jar!

A few of you mentioned that you liked the candy canes in the mason jar on my Christmas table, so I thought I’d show you this one too because it has the most awesome candy canes ever!! They are HUMUNGOUS!

Even though they are store bought, they are actually called handmade Candy Canes! And yes, you can eat them! They were so big I couldn’t fit them in a mason jar so I just used one of my hurricanes. Just looking at these candy canes make me happy! They are completely festive and fun. And of course, this is easy to put together. This time I used real fake snow, not the Epsom Salts I normally use, for the bottom of the jar.

I got the candy canes at Costco in case you want to look for them. They come individually wrapped too so they would be fun as gifts or tied to packages! Yay!

Love ’em!

Too cute and much better I think for using as a centerpiece its a tad bigger than the mason jars.

They look great in the large jar. I can’t imagine actually eating one of those though.

I can do that. Maybe I shouldn’t admit, but I could eat an entire one of those candy canes…lol. Great look and idea. Oh and Melissa, your daughter’s blog is a pleasure. I’m not sure if it’s her writing style or outlook on life, but it is similar to yours. She’ll do great. I also love that like you, she is following her passion.

Cool idea! I actually had placed candy canes (normal sizes ones) in a white picture like that. Very pretty!

How funny, I put candy canes in a clear jar, too this year on the top of our china cabinet.

Those jumbo canes rock. Last year i had fun decorating with different colored pixie sticks. And, we’re thinking about heading back to Hobby Lobby to get the starlight mint-inspired tree topper for the 14 yr old’s tree.

He’ll probably love that! Considering we made a Christmas Pez Tree last year!

Those are adorable! I normally get tired of a normal sized candy cane about half way through, so i can’t imagine eating those…but they make lovely decorations!

That looks amazing! I also hung some candy canes on a jar, but had to take them off because my ferret, Rocky, started licking them, LOL!

Wow! They are massive. A friend of mine has got a Costco card. I’ve got to ask her to get me some. Fabulous.

The smell and taste of candy canes, as well as their appearance, have always connotated warmth and security to me. Alright, I’ll admit it – they remind me of when I was a little kid.

    Thanks for a beautiful display.
