A true romantic at heart, I love looking at wedding reception photos.
I find so many inspiring and creative ideas, not just for weddings but for styling tables, creating centerpieces, throwing parties, festive decorating, and fun celebrations! And now I’m completely smitten by that red barn.
If you want to get all sappy and teary-eyed, go watch one of these romantic wedding videos over at Paperback Weddings. Or join me in watching one of my favorite movies of all time. Father of the Bride with Steve Martin!
.
I LOVE this post you did! All of the details were amazing. Lots of great inspiration. :)
Well said and well crafted. This is so inspiring and full of great ideas. Watching beautifully decorated wedding videos makes me smile too.
My daughter is getting married in 17 days! We are so ready! It’s going to be beautiful! They are young but ready and have a relationship built on Christ.
Loved watching several wedding videos this morning! Thanks for the link!

Love the barn…lights and heart…thanks for sharing…makes me what to have a party =)
These are beautiful ideas for a wedding and many are applicable to any event. Love the kraft paper menu-placemats! Hot tip: The Steve Martin Father of the Bride is fabulous, but it is even better after seeing the 1950 original with Elizabeth Taylor, Joan Bennett and Spencer Tracy. Serious, hilarious reality comedy :)
I’ve been married 20 years and I still never tire of looking at wedding inspiration photos. Weddings are so much more personalized these days. I love the barn reception with all the different chairs. Very fun!
Father Of The Bride came out when my sister was planning her wedding and we went to see it with my parents. We laughed so hard since our family was in the throws of planning ourselves.. Such a fun memory.
Loved this post. We have a wedding next year. even though I am the mother of the groom, I still love looking at all the beautiful creative weddings.
