The other night my human brother Luke brought home some fried mac and cheese balls leftover from his dinner at a restaurant. He casually set the container down for a moment, not realizing that the container was dangerously close to the edge of the counter. I saw the opportunity and realized my nose could easily nudge the container from the counter to the floor. I couldn’t resist. I flung my snout up there and the next thing I knew, the container was right where I wanted it.
Needless to say, I was delighted to see that the mac and cheese balls were also rolling out onto the floor–within reach of my lips. I then took a quick look around to my left, and looked to my right. No one was around to witness what I was about to do. I snatched up one (or three) of those delectable cheese balls…and let me tell you, I LIKED IT. Until later that night, that is…when my tummy hurt. That’s when I felt some slight regret. But would I do it again?
