I LOVE.
It might be Fall, but I still love that aqua door and starfish wreath.
I love the globes, the map, the bookshelves, the toys, the kid with his feet up.
I love everything about this.
And I love everything about this.
The End.
That pretty much sums it up for today. Profound. Yeah. Mondays are like that.
So, what’s going on with you today? #stalling #5moredays #31days #gettingclose #tryingnottopanic
I feel the same way. I love Fall, but I have a hard time breaking away from those colors! :)

Wow I love this! It screams New England and I so want a New England style house. Instead I have a 1980’s British house. Yuk :(
Up until today I had my heart set on a bright yellow front door (I even blogged about it yesterday!). Seeing this aqua one has got me having second thoughts! And I love, love, love the map and globes.
Melissa,
I too LOVE all of those images…especially the aqua door and the planters of hydrangea on either side! Just in time for a little last minute warm weather here in Orange County.
xo,
Karen
What is the aqua color on the door? Absolutely fabulous Would love to know so I can redo our beach house front door.
I love everything about your blog, Melissa.
We have the same tastes in decorating it
seems. It’s a joy to subscribe as you never
fail to inspire and delight.
Blessings~
Sandy, thank you for that sweet comment. It was encouraging to me :-)
“Coastal Living” rocks!!! franki
Love the door- I’m painting crown molding today… =)
Love your MMI {Monday morning inspiration}
Happy day
Hi Melissa-
I can see your own home in many of your inspiration photos. You make what you love -happen. :)
My best- Diane
Thank you Diane. I hadn’t thought about that but that is a great observation :-) so thank you!! ;-)
I love the boy-with-his-feet-up room because it pictures warmth and comfort. That is my goal in our home. We’ve lived here a long time so it is hard to make the much needed changes, or to see the solutions at times. There’s a subject for your blog!
This post made me smile. Especially the turquoise door. I would love a turquoise door!! but my house is green so that just wouldn’t work…
We’re having one of those there’s-not-enough-coffee-in-the-world-to-make-everything-okay sort of Mondays, so thanks for sharing some pretty inspirations :)
Love the aqua door, and all the designs around it. It’s always summer somewhere!!
These rooms are absolutely beautiful! Love the styles and creativity and cleanness of each of them.
Being in Real Estate here in Santa Barbara these are definitely styles and inspirational pieces for our home buyers.
Love!
Thank You! :)
I hate breaking up with summer :( beautiful photos
Beautiful!
Gorgeous! I love barn style doors! :)
Me too…gorgeous!!
Love the kid with his feet up too. The other photos are beautiful, but I want my home with kids with their feet up in it.
Mondays really ARE like that, aren’t they?
I love that used all the space on the wall under the stairs. Very nice!
I need to use my vertical space more.
Thanks for the reminder!
All the best,
Dana @ CafeD
i love the door. remins me of greece, which i miss dearly!
Put a bunch of globes anywhere in a room and you’ve pretty much got me!
Those old cameras make a stunning display too.
The turquoise door is divine, but I’m still going to paint mine red one day… it’s on the list!
Linda. :)
