All I Want for Christmas…

All I Want for Christmas...

Oh, hello there dreamy blue KitchenAid mixer with hobnail white bowl. Where have you been all my life?

I was just innocently doing a little online window shopping yesterday when this beauty stopped me right in my scroll. This isn’t sponsored by KitchenAid, but it does happen to be their 100 year limited edition stand mixer.

You GOT me, KitchenAid. This mixer had me at hello.

All I Want for Christmas...

The white mixer that I’ve used for years is actually still going strong! Fun fact, it originally belonged to MY MOM, she gave it to me when my girls were little because she didn’t bake much!

But if Santa wants to bring me this new one, I wouldn’t be upset. Hahah. In fact, I’d just pass my old mixer on to one of MY daughters. It is an heirloom. It would be a gift that keeps on giving.

That bowl, though.

The mixer also available herehere, or here for less right now without the hobnail bowl (I love the white stainless steel bowl, too!).All I Want for Christmas...

You can even get this textured bowl (above) if you just want to update an old mixer (it’s freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher safe!).

Or this pretty botanical bowl!

. . . . . . . . .

Do you have a stand mixer? Mine has definitely served me well for years of cookie making, banana bread baking…it’s so nice for mixing up all the things. I have the standard size, but there are even mini ones that are a bit lighter, too!

What fun new gadget would you love for Santa to bring to you (or your kitchen or home!) this year?

  1. Love the hobnail bowl!!

  2. I love mine…I have the stainless with the stainless bowl! I have given all my girls one over the years! It is one of those things you may not use all the time but when you need it, you need it! And yes, that white textured bowl is AMAZING! I may have to put that on my Christmas list!

  3. Deborah Everton says:

It’s all about the bowl. I searched high and low for it but you have to buy the mixer to get it.

  4. I have a white one that’s 26 years old this Christmas and I inherited my moms white one too so even though I want a bigger one, I just can’t justify it when I have 2 perfectly good old mixers in my house. I’m too rational sometimes. The blue one is really pretty.

  5. Maybe you’ll have to buy yourself a really cute bowl and paint your white stand mixer if Santa doesn’t bring you this one! I’m wishing for a few more power tools I don’t currently own so I can do more projects! lol

  6. Beautiful mixer. I don’t have a standalone one. But this Christmas I’m hoping for an Instant Pot! :)

  7. That mixer is just beautiful. But bear in mind all the reports that the newer mixers don’t last like the old ones. Just a thought . . .

  8. that’s gorgeous, and would look great on your counter. :-) my KitchenAid was a [fantastic] gift from my husband many years ago, is deep red, and has made us many a wonderful birthday cake.

  9. I saw that mixer the other day and fell in love….and I’m not even a ‘blue’ person!! I have a Kitchen Aid, of course in red – we used it for hours yesterday making cookies for Thanksgiving! I have recently started to use it also to make meatloaf and it does an amazing job! Love my Kitchen Aid – hope Santa brings you this new one!

  10. What a beautiful blue and gorgeous bowl! I feel your yearning Melissa! I’ve never hand a stand mixer and I doubt that I’ll get one now, don’t want to take up too much countertop real estate, however I have and LOVE my Kitchenaid hand mixer! It does all the jobs I need. Hope you get to pass down your white one to one of your girls ( how special!) and are blessed with this lovely one you showcased here. Love window shopping online!

  11. eBay had a flash sale on the bigger Kitchenaid mixers the other day, and I’m hoping my husband ordered one for me (since I subtly hinted I wanted it by sending him the email). I have a small one I’ve had for years, but it is getting tired. I bake our bread each week and the “knead” feature seems to be really taxing on the smaller motor. That said, it has held up a long time. I doubt I would have gotten the blue, but it is lovely. I am wondering how the bowl would hold up and whether it would get gray scratches inside. You’ll have to report back if it ends up under your tree! :-)

  12. Wow! When I got mine, I think white was the only color available…you are making me feel so old Melissa…!

  13. ah, a new stand mixer is a dream for me. I still have the one i received over 25 years ago. it’s not a kitchen aid but definitely a work horse. I fear it will give up on me one of these days, but until then, a mixing we will go!
