I have had a few questions about painting kitchen cabinets. I happened to find a video showing how to do a kitchen cabinet makeover for under $100 using Caromal Colours paint! You could do this in a weekend!
To order your own Caromal Colours paint kit, click on the button below and Patty’s website will explain how to order it!
To see the cabinet and hutch that I painted, as well as a ton of links to before and after pictures of everyone’s Procrastinator Party Projects, go here!
{Patty is a distributor of Caromal Colours and a sponsor of The Inspired Room, but my opinions and experience with Caromal Colours paints are my own. I am always happy to tell you about products I have used and liked!}
Tempting! I’m wary of painting my kitchen cabinets because they’re not real wood; even using melamine primer and good paint, I worry that overenthusiastic scrubbing might remove all the paint. I’d be grateful for updates on how you and your readers’ projects are standing the test of time.

That’s a really neat video. Now I want to check out that paint product. It looks like the same stuff you used on your desk thing for the Procrastinator Party.
I painted my kitchen cabinets in my old house (they had been an awful honey oak – I talk it about it in a post on my blog), and I NEVER regretted doing it. In fact, I’m positive it helped out house sell.
Thanks for the tip! I’m off to their website.

I would LOVE to try this!

Hmmm…giving consideration to using that product on my cheap bookcase.
OH! I know I’m a day late but I finally posted my After photos. I tried hard to finish yesterday. :( I hope it’s not too late to join the AFter party. I’m really proud of what we managed to get done.
Dang, those before/after shots look amazing. What a terrific way to jazz up old furniture!

I really think this paint could tempt me to try to paint some kitchen cabinets myself, which I would never have considered in the past! I love how forgiving it is with the texture!
After the less than stellar success of my front door, I’m a bit nervous about painting projects now. The blasted thing is going to need a third coat!
