Homemaking Goals in 2013

Find the 2014 Home Goals printable here!

I have a wild 2013 New Year’s celebration planned, I’m going to be sitting by the fire, watching movies and thinking about my goals for 2013. WOO HOO! My kind of celebrating! While I do like to make personal goals, I also like to think of some dreams and goals for my home, too.

Whether it is a short list of home projects I want to work on, a key word I want to use for my home this year, the areas of my house I want to organize, a project I am committing to complete, or most importantly, memories and traditions I want to make in our home, it is so helpful to write my goals down! It gets me thinking, dreaming and planning. And best of all, it gets me FOCUSED on what matters most to me.

As my New Year’s gift to you, I’ve included a free downloadable Home Goals worksheet to help inspire your own homemaking goals for the new year. I’ll be filling mine out and sharing my goals and thoughts on my home in 2013 with you soon!

To download, just click on the image above, or on this home goals 2013 printable link, and the free 8 1/2 x 11 printable pdf will be available to print.

Happy New Year, dear readers!

  1. That’s so great. I totally need to fill that out and make it happen. I’ve got probably 10 DIY projects on my list.

  2. I’m a list maker…so I’m definitely loving this page.
    Thanks for sharing this…
I’ve already been thinking of my word for the year…and ORGANIZING!

    happy new year! Pat

  3. I definitely want to get more organized this year so it is good to have a
list to look at. I started cleaning out the attic right before Christmas, wow
what an accumulation of things I don’t need. You were a busy girl last year,
don’t forget to take a break when you need it. I wanted to tell you my 3 year old
grandson loved the Christmas tags, he wanted squirrels for his gifts. They were
    really handy, thanks!

Thanks for the lovely form, I am adding it to the household notebook I am assembling for 2013. I have made a resolution to update my home this year and do some much delayed entertaining. You really inspire me to be a better steward of our home.

  5. This looks like fun. I’ve made a start and asked a friend if she wants to join me doing this. The word that came to me for the first question is “Content”. I’m starting on the second. Yeah…love the positive nature of this project. Thank you Melissa!

  6. Did anyone have problems printing the document? It comes up with the top border but there is no text when I preview the print or even print it.

  7. Wonderful list….thanks for sharing.
Here’s to a fabulous New Year.

    • Thanks Teresa, that Banana Cream Pie Oatmeal in your post link sounds delicious!! Must come see what that is all about. Mmmm…Happy New Year to you!! Always so happy to see your smiling face and sweet words of encouragement here!!
