Hey friends! The week is flying by, how did it get to be Wednesday already? Guess time flies when you are having fun, right? In Saturday’s post I had mentioned that we were doing some tidying around my house. I tried to show you the time lapse video we had made on Instagram of my girls and I clearing the clutter from the dining room. But I didn’t realize it wouldn’t play for anyone who doesn’t have an Instagram account! Ack! It wasn’t my intention to leave anyone out so if you couldn’t see it or missed it, here it is below!
Click over to the video here on YouTube if you want to watch full screen.
The video really wasn’t that big of a deal, but I do know that watching others tidying a room can be contagious, so maybe it will give you a little nudge today. :) If it inspires you, leave a comment here and let me know what you’re tidying (or share a photo with us over in our new free Facebook community!)! Spring is almost here so it’s definitely not too early to get a head start on spring cleaning.

My Bestselling Organizing Books:
Our Garden Shed. My husband and I built a wall between the garden tools, lawn mower, etc storage area and the fun part (vintage garden, McCoy planters. old wicker chair and my great aunts small table and chair). So first the practical area and then I get to play and change up the whimsical area. Ordered solar edison string lights to hang inside that area. Nothing like something new to motivate me!
We built a shed last year that is the same way! “My” part, the she shed part, is only 5 ft wide by 8 ft long but it is a fun place to display the shabby/garden chic things I still love but no longer fit in with my home’s interior decor. I like the idea of the solar lights for inside, may have to copy that one!! Thanks for the great idea.
I do get inspired. I need inspiration because there’s always a project waiting to be done.
I’m glad to know it isn’t just me having to clear off surfaces from time to time. I do great for a long time and then somehow a pile starts- usually on the kitchen island. Anyhoo, it looks great! I hope you’re doing a post on your Rugable. I can’t wait to hear if they are as good as they seem.
Let me know what supplements you are taking to move that fast while tidying up. LOL!! I sure can use some right about now!
